This dataset contains match results and statistics for all seasons of the German Bundesliga from 1993/94 to the current season. The data is updated daily via GitHub Actions. The dataset is sourced from http://www.football-data.co.uk/ website and contains various statistical data such as final and half time result, shots, corners, yellow and red cards, and referee.

## Known data quirks

- **Halftime data (HTHG, HTAG, HTR)**: absent for the 1993/94 season.
- **Shot, foul, corner and card statistics (HS–AR)**: absent for seasons 1993/94 through 1999/00 and for 2002/03.
- **Referee**: present from 1993/94 onwards but often empty in early seasons.
